Abstract Human posture estimation is the basis of many computer vision tasks, such as motion recognition, violence detection and behavior understanding. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the estimation algorithm of human motion posture (HMP). To address the problem of poor estimation effect of traditional HMP estimation algorithm, in this paper, an estimation algorithm for HMP using multi-labeling transfer learning is proposed. First, the original human motion image is labeled by using the multi-label transfer learning, the HMP features are extracted, and the original image classification is completed. Second, a regulator is constructed based on the classification results of the original image, and the regulator is used to adjust the estimation results of HMP based on a convolutional neural networks. Finally, the posture compensation function is used to compensate for the error part to realize the estimation of HMP. In the experiment, the Human3.6m data set and MPII data set were used as the basis for testing. The results show that the proposed algorithm has high correct recognition rate of HMP. The similarity between the posture estimation results, and the target image is 92%-97%. The accuracy of posture estimation is 98.1%. The proposed algorithm can be widely used in many fields, such as human-computer interaction, recognition authentication and intelligent monitoring.

Abstract The study investigated that clinic significance and molecular mechanism of Plin5 in spinal cord injury (SCI). Serum levels of Plin5 was down-regulated and there is a negative correlation between Plin5 and IL-1β levels in patients with SCI,. Human Plin5 protein could reduce inflammation, and prevented spinal cord injury in rat model of SCI. Over-expression of Plin5 reduced inflammation divisors via activation of SIRT1 and suppression of NLRP3 in vitro model of SCI; down-regulation of Plin5 promoted inflammation divisors via inactivation of SIRT1 and induction of NLRP3 in vitro model of SCI. SIRT1 is important targets of Plin5 in inflammation divisors of SCI. The inhibition of SIRT1 reduced the effects of Plin5 on inflammation divisors of SCI. The activation of NLRP3 also reduced the effects of Plin5 on inflammation divisors of SCI. We concluded that clinic Serum levels of Plin5 is therapeutic target of SCI and Plin5 reduced inflammation in SCI via SIRT1 dependent suppression of NLRP3 Inflammasome.

SUMMARY OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to assess the effect of the collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds seeded with human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells on functional recovery after acute complete spinal cord injury. METHODS: The fibroin and collagen were mixed (mass ratio, 3:7), and the composite scaffolds were produced. Forty rats were randomly divided into the Sham group (without spinal cord injury), spinal cord injury group (spinal cord transection without any implantation), collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds group (spinal cord transection with implantation of the collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds), and collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds + human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells group (spinal cord transection with the implantation of the collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds co-cultured with human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells). Motor evoked potential, Basso-Beattie-Bresnahan scale, modified Bielschowsky's silver staining, and immunofluorescence staining were performed. RESULTS: The BBB scores in the collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds + human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells group were significantly higher than those in the spinal cord injury and collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds groups (p<0.05 or p<0.01). The amplitude and latency were markedly improved in the collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds + human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells group compared with the spinal cord injury and collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds groups (p<0.05 or p<0.01). Meanwhile, compared to the spinal cord injury and collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds groups, more neurofilament positive nerve fiber ensheathed by myelin basic protein positive structure at the injury site were observed in the collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds + human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells group (p<0.01, p<0.05). The results of Bielschowsky's silver staining indicated more nerve fibers was observed at the lesion site in the collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds + human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells group compared with the spinal cord injury and collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds groups (p<0.01, p< 0.05). CONCLUSION: The results demonstrated that the transplantation of human umbilical cord-mesenchymal stem cells on a collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds could promote nerve regeneration, and recovery of neurological function after acute spinal cord injury.

The epidermis, the outermost layer of the skin, is the first barrier that comes into contact with the external environment. It plays an important role in resisting the invasion of harmful substances and microbial infections. The skin changes with age and external environmental factors. This study aimed to investigate epidermal stem cells during the process of aging. This study enrolled 9 volunteers with benign pigmented nevus for clinical dermatologic surgery. The phenotypes associated with skin aging changes such as skin wrinkles and elasticity of the unexposed/healthy parts near benign pigmented skin were measured, and epidermal stem cells from this region were isolated for transcriptome sequencing. The results showed that epidermal stem cells could be obtained by magnetic activated cell sorting (MACS) with high purity. Results of the transcriptome sequencing revealed that aquaporin (AQP)5 significantly decreased in the epidermal stem cells with age, and further functional experiments revealed that AQP5 could promote the proliferation and dedifferentiation of HaCaT, but did not influence cell apoptosis. In summary, AQP5 regulated the proliferation and differentiation of epidermal stem cells in skin aging, and it may play an important role in the balance of proliferation and differentiation. However, further studies are needed to determine the mechanism by which AQP5 regulates the proliferation and differentiation of epidermal skin cells in aging.

In order to assess the role of bromination reaction in the oxalic acid-acetone-KBrO3-Ce(IV)-H2SO4 oscillating system, both the effects of oxalic acid and acetone were studied in detail. Based on the experimental data, we propose a new skeleton scheme containing 11 reactions to simulate the oscillating behavior of the system, in which the bromination reaction between acetone and bromine should be considered as another source of Br−.

Se estudian en detalle los efectos del ácido oxálico y de la acetona en la reacción ácido oxálico-acetona-KBrO3-Ce(IV)-H2SO4 con el fin de evaluar el papel de la reacción de bromación el sistema oscilante. Basados en los datos experimentales, proponemos un nuevo esquema que contiene a 11 reacciones para simular el comportamiento oscilante del sistema en el que la reacción de bromación entre acetona y bromo debe ser considerada como otra fuente de Br−.

Based on a ten-step chemical model involving the concentrations of I2(aq), O2(aq), and the intermediates of I- and HIO2, four independent variables and seven irreversible steps, the nonlinear behavior of Bray-Liebhafsky (BL) oscillating reaction was investigated. The results showed that with different values of initial concentrations of reactants in the process of simulation, both periodic oscillation and chaotic behavior could be observed. In addition, at the same initial concentrations and rate constants, the system becomes more and more regular after being chaos. That is to say, the translation from chaos to periodic oscillation at the same initial conditions appeared in the BL system. The nonlinear behavior of system was also investigated briefly.

En base a un modelo químico de diez pasos que involucra las concentraciones de I2 (ac), O2 (ac), los intermediarios de I- y HIO2, cuatro variables independientes y siete pasos irreversibles, fue investigado el comportamiento no lineal de la reacción oscilatoria de Bray-Liebhafsky (BL). Los resultados mostraron que con valores diferentes de concentraciones iniciales de los reactantes en el proceso de simulación, tanto la oscilación periódica como el comportamiento caótico pudieron ser observados. Además, a la misma concentración inicial y constantes de velocidad, el sistema se convierte en más regular a partir del caos. Es decir, la traslación del caos a la oscilación regular en las mismas condiciones iniciales aparece en la Reacción BL. El comportamiento no lineal del sistema también fue estudiado resumidamente.

The Bray-Liebhafsky reaction exhibits different nonlinear behaviors during the iodate catalyzed decomposition of acidic hydrogen peroxide in the different conditions. Both the chaotic and regular oscillations were observed. The largest Lyapunov exponent (λL), the power spectram and the log(P)-log(f) dependence for power spectram were used to evalúate these nonlinear behaviors. The effect of initial concentration of reactants on the types of oscillations and the initial potential (E o) were discussed in detail. The possible mechanism of the Bray-Liebhafsky reaction was also approached in this work

The computational simulation of the Bray-Liebhafsky (BL) oscillating chemical reaction by differential kinetic methodology is carried out in this work. According to the mechanism of Treindl and Noyes involving 10 reaction steps, the changes of the concentrations of I2 and O2 in solution are simulated. When the control parameters are α = 0.55, β = 0.2882 and δ < 0.6, the differential equations present periodic solution, and the oscillations can be observed in 150 min. If α, β and δ are taken as the control parameters, respectively, the bifurcation points would be observed in the processes of control parameters, changing successively with the critical values of α = 0.55, β = 0.2882, and δ = 0.6. The acidity of solution on the nonlinear phenomena is also investigated in detail.

Este estudo descreve o movimento oscilatório de uma interface água/óleo em um sistema em que a fase óleo era composta por uma mistura de nitrobenzeno, ácido pícrico e etanol, enquanto a fase aquosa era composta por uma solução de CTAB (brometo de cetiltrimetilamônio). A interface apresentava diferentes tipos de movimentos como aleatório, ondulatório e tipo gangorra, que eram afetados por condições experimentais como a concentração dos reagentes e a geometria do vaso de reação. Um mecanismo é proposto para explicar estes movimentos oscilatórios.

A macroscopic interface self-motion appearing on an oil/water liquid membrane was clearly observed. The oil phase was a mixture solution containing nitrobenzene, picric acid and ethanol, whereas the aqueous phase was a solution of CTAB (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide). The interface displayed different types of motion, such as random, wave-like motion and teeterboard-like motions, which were affected by experimental conditions like concentration of reactants and geometry of the reaction vessel. A possible mechanism to explain these motions was also proposed.
